The accompanying cross-number puzzle has been filled out using the whole numbers from 6 to 10 exactly once so that the total along each line is 23.

1.  Use the whole numbers from 5 to 12 exactly once in the following outer ring of circles so that each line adds up to 34.


2.  Use the following cross-number total diagram for each of the following questions:
a.  Use the whole numbers from 3 to 8 exactly once so that each line adds up to 15.
b.  Use the whole numbers from 3 to 8 exactly once so that each line adds up to 16.
c.  Use the whole numbers from 3 to 8 exactly once so that each line adds up to 17.
